Rethentic is the first technology of its kind and it is patent pending; a chip and a platform that verify each other, for protection nobody can match without infringing.

Their link is the proof. Ours is just a label.

Our competitors build on NTAG chips that carry a URL. Tapping opens that link, so the phone learns where to ask and the party being checked chose who answers. Writing the same URL onto a blank tag takes no keys and no secrets, which is why the tap can be reproduced for pennies.

A Rethentic link carries no proof. Verification is a separate cryptographic exchange with the chip, and a genuine interaction changes the chip itself, so a copy does not survive the next real tap. A public product passport stays open to anyone and claims no authenticity, while confirming the chip and moving ownership take the chip and the Rethentic app together. Our own server earns no more benefit of the doubt than theirs: every ledger entry is anchored to an interaction the chip itself advanced, so a history nobody lived cannot be made to match the object you are holding.

The same holds for the parts. Rethentic defines the security a device has to provide, then leaves the choice open. A brand uses the best device for each product. A better one can join the same network later, alongside everything already in it. There is no proprietary hardware to buy.

Rather than ask you to take our word for it, we forged one ourselves. Fraudex is a maison we invented, with a tag anyone could write and a page that says Verified Authentic without checking a thing.
